Elections Committee

The role of the elections committee is one of general education of the club membership about upcoming elections and dissemination of information about the races, the candidates, the voting deadlines, and voting location(s) in the vicinity of Robson Ranch. Committee members may assume responsibility for different phases of the election process according to their role within the committee.

Duties of the Elections Committee include the following:

• Determine who the Republican candidates are for each upcoming election, whether it be a primary or general election.  
• Disseminate biographical information and qualifications of each candidate to club members.  
• Collect advertising materials such as pamphlets, brochures, flyers, banners, bumper stickers, and yard signs and make them available during monthly club meetings or by special request from a member.  
• Collect and share details on specific legislation to appear on local ballots and advise members where elected and potential officials stand on the issues.  
• Promote candidates from the Republican Party for all contested local, state, and federal offices.
