Teresa Martinez, Republican Majority Whip for the Arizona House of Representatives, shared what has transpired in recent sessions and in committee. She thanked our club members who so graciously assisted her in the budget process by reading and commenting on the proposals and offering suggestions or raising questions.
At RRAZRC, our goal is to bring people together and foster meaningful connections through a variety of social activities and events. On November 17 from 3 to 6 p.m., a good group of current and prospective members met at the Ranch House Patio for a "meet and greet" social event.

As Third Vice Chair of the Arizona Republican Party (AZGOP), Gina is primarily responsible for ensuring the integrity of elections in Arizona and around the country. She spoke to some of the issues that have affected voter confidence in recent past election results and described some of the ongoing efforts to mitigate potential irregularities in the election process.
Denise Rogers was elected Superintendent of Toltec Elementary School District when the district was in distress and has worked with parents and the community to rebuild trust and restore the district to fiscal compliance. The district is heavily focused on reading fluency.
Jeff Lavender was appointed Superintendent of Casa Grande Union High School District in March 2023 after the previous superintendent was terminated. He spoke primarily to promote passage of the district's budget override proposition on the November 2023 ballot.
Jill Broussard is Superintendent of Pinal County Schools and is currently up for reelection. Her office provides fiscal services and continuing professional development to county schools, monitors state legislation, and works with legislators to thwart bad bills.
Our U.S. Representative for Arizona's 6th Congressional District spoke of what has been transpiring in Washington since he was elected. He returns to DC on September 11 to work on passing 11 bills out of the House of Representatives by September 30.
Rep. Ciscomani was accompanied at the meeting by his press secretary and two of his children.
