Social events Committee

The Social Events committee’s primary goal is to ensure the visibility of the organization and advance its causes through multiple social functions. This activity may include providing specialized events for members to attend that extend to both social and political networking.

Events committee responsibilities include the following:

• Collaborate with the Board of Directors to identify events that could meet member needs and develop an action plan for event promotion.
• Provide data as necessary for committee action.
• Coordinate with facility managers and select locations for details on event viability.

The committee chairman will:

• Provide leadership for the committee and facilitate communication and discussion during the meetings.
• Serve as spokesperson for the committee within the organization. 
• Report results of the committee meetings and activity to the Board of Directors.
